// the short version: we collect almost nothing
Privacy Policy

What we collect
Very little. This site has no accounts, no forms, no comments, no newsletter, and no advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit; beyond that, we cannot identify you and we don't try to.
The blue/purple "visited" styling on links is done entirely by your own browser's history and CSS. That information never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
Third parties involved in serving the site
- Google Analytics measures anonymous, aggregate traffic: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device type they use. IP addresses are anonymized. It uses cookies; you can block it with any content blocker, the official opt-out add-on, or your browser's tracking protection, and the site works exactly the same. See the Google privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request data to deliver pages and may keep short-lived technical logs. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Google Favicons: the small site icons on our cards are loaded from Google's public favicon service. When your browser fetches them, Google receives the request (including your IP address), as with any image hosted by a third party. See the Google privacy policy.
Every outbound link in the directory leads to an independent website with its own privacy practices. We are not responsible for what other sites do once you leave.
Your rights
We hold no personal data about you ourselves — analytics data lives with Google in anonymized, aggregate form. If you believe we hold something about you, or you have any privacy question, email [email protected] and we'll sort it out.
Changes
If the site ever starts collecting anything — analytics, a newsletter, anything — this page will say so plainly before it happens.
